This low, rock-strewn hill stood directly south of the rover’s position while it was recently examining the “odd rocks” at the head of Marathon Valley. A new navigation waypoint, Spirit of St. Louis Crater, can be glimpsed as an almost flat feature in the center of the image, a little beyond the hill.
