Sol 3987, April 12, 2015. A false-color Pancam image shows the curious feature dubbed Spartan, which lies about 4 meters (13 feet) from the edge of the also-curious Spirit of St. Louis Crater. (What relationship, if any, exists between them is unknown.) The rover will likely examine Spartan more closely when it drives over to study Spirit of St. Louis.
