MARCI weather report, January 11-17, 2016

During the past week, local dust storms were observed over the defrosted dune fields along the edge of the perennial north polar cap. Further to the south, afternoon orographic water-ice clouds persisted over all the major shield volcanoes, while the developing aphelion cloud belt to continued to dominate the skies at tropical latitudes.
