MARCI weather report: August 1-7, 2016

releaseimg_160801_160807Last week on Mars, several scattered transient dust storms were observed along the edge of the receding seasonal south polar ice cap, which extended to around 61°S latitude. On the other side of the red planet, dust storms and haze over the northern plains wafted eastward each afternoon.
