Sol 1809, September 7, 2017. With an upslope drive of 8.7 meters (29 feet), Curiosity is on the verge of topping out on Vera Rubin Ridge. The bluff named Pettegrove Point lies on the left, Mt. Sharp rises in the distance, and the ridge’s rocky summit spreads out directly ahead of the rover.
