Opportunity: On Cape Tribulation’s peak!

3894-summit-south2Sol 3894, January 7, 2015. On top at last! Opportunity summits out on Cape Tribulation. The Navcam view south (click on the image for a larger version) shows a horizon with the Meridiani plains at right. These merge into Endeavour Crater’s southern rim segments on the left. Marathon Valley, Opportunity’s next scientific stopping point, lies about 500 meters (1,600 feet) ahead along the rim crest.
