Sol 926, March 15, 2015. The target dubbed Garden City shows mineral “blades” rising above the cracks in the bedrock, in this multi-Navcam composite. (Click the image to open a larger version in a new tab.) In other locations in Gale Crater, such blades are made of calcium sulfate minerals. Curiosity will be exploring this outcrop on its path away from the Pahrump Hills outcrop.
