Sol 951, April 10, 2015. With Curiosity spending so much time down on the floor of Pahrump Hills, the terrain ahead has been viewed only from orbit. Here several Navcam frames composited show a long-range view down Artist’s Drive, helping rover drivers and scientists to choose a best route through the valley. The butte at left stands on the valley’s south side, and this composite looks toward the southwest. (Click the image to load a larger version in a new tab.)
