The rover is positioned so as to place an intriguing deposit, dubbed Joseph Collin, in the instrument arm’s “workplane” — i.e., where the arm can put instruments onto the target. (The instrument arm can move up and down, but no longer can swing side-to-side.)

The target appears smooth and gray, and is likely a small deposit of fine wind-blown basaltic dust or sand. The image is a false-color composite from Holger Isenberg; click to enlarge.

Opportunity raw images, its latest mission status, a location map. and atmospheric opacity, known as tau.
