Opportunity: Far horizon

Three Navcam frames taken on Sol 4266 show the scenery at Marathon Valley and the floor and far rim of Endeavour Crater, as the rover looks toward the east and southeast (above). Note Opportunity’s shadow at right. One sol later, the Navcam looked southwest and west (below). The frame at the right edge below shows lens flare from the setting Sun, just out of the field of view. Click either image to enlarge it.
