THEMIS Image of the Day, February 9, 2016. This VIS image shows a small portion of the boundary region between Terra Sabaea and Utopia Planitia. The ridges and valleys in this image were likely created by tectonic faulting. There is a small channel entering from the right side of the image. Material from this channel has been deposited in a circular region, which may be an impact crater, and then down one of the valleys.
