THEMIS Image of the Day, March 21, 2016. Today’s VIS image shows the interior of an unnamed crater near Nili Fossae. The central feature of the crater is a peak with a central low pit that was created by rebound of material at the time impact. Small dunes are also visible towards the bottom of the image.
