MARCI weather report, April 4-10, 2016

releaseimg_160404_160410During this past week, diffuse afternoon water-ice clouds persisted over low latitudes of the red planet. Looking to the northern lowlands, small dust-lifting events were spotted near the north polar ice cap edge, north of Acidalia and over Olympia. Focusing on the southern hemisphere, multiple small short-lived dust storms were observed over Noachis, northern Aonia, and Hellas Planitia.  [More at link, including video]
