Sol 1552, December 17, 2016. Over the weekend, Curiosity’s Navcam took a three-frame composite showing the scene that lies ahead of the rover. The small, dark-topped butte on the left is Oak Hill, the larger butte to the right of center is Ireson Hill, and the great mound of Mt. Sharp (formal name: Aeolis Mons) rises above all.
