Curiosity: Shooting and driving

1795-rmiSol 1795-96, August 24-25, 2017. On Sol 1795, Curiosity used the Remote-Micro-Imager to shoot a 10-frame profile of the thin sedimentary layers on top of Vera Rubin Ridge before the rover drove some 26 meters (85 feet) toward the southeast. The following day Curiosity continued the drive, and used the Navcam to shoot what lies in front of the rover. Click either image to enlarge it.
