Opportunity: Pitted and scoured Pasaje

1P568155020ESFD0IJP2384L5M1_L2L5L5L7L7Sol 4956, January 2, 2018. A blocky rock dubbed Pasaje shows a surface texture heavily eroded by wind-blown dust and sand to the point of looking layered. Yet at the same time, part of it appears pitted, resembling vesicular basalt. (The smaller companion rock at left appears much the same.)
