Diverse composition and stratigraphy in the Claritas Region. This region, west of Solis Planum, is a tectonic and volcanic area located south-east of the Tharsis volcano group (the Tharsis Montes) on the Tharsis rise. It extends roughly north to south for approximately 1800 kilometers.
