THEMIS: Dunes in Kaiser Crater
THEMIS Image of the Day, November 23, 2018. This VIS image shows part of the floor of Kaiser Crater, including several sand dunes. Kaiser Crater is located in Noachis Terra.
The dunes’ dark tone indicates they are free of dust, so it is likely that the sand is loose and being moved by winds today.
