Mid-afternoon on Murray Ridge and Opportunity’s Navcam images an outcrop possibly containing aluminum-hydroxl clays. Small drifts of sand and dust nearby are reminders that the wind blowing over the ridge is keeping the rover’s solar panels remarkably clean: 92.4% of full power (as of June 11).
The front left Hazcam captures late afternoon Sun shadow-profiling Opportunity, as the rover uses its instrument arm. (The outcrop seen above in Navcam closeup lies at upper right in this image.)
