MARCI weather report: August 4-10, 2014

Storm activity continued at mid-to-high latitudes in both hemispheres this week. In the north, dust-lifting off of the residual polar cap was observed north of Deuteronilus. Towards the end of the week, regional scale storm activity also developed in northern Acidalia, poleward of 50 degrees latitude. Local storms occurred across much of the southern mid-latitudes, nucleating at the seasonal cap edge, in Sirenum, Aonia, Noachis, and Hellas…. [More at link, including video]
