Opportunity: Southwest vista, shiny rocks

3934-3navcamSol 3934, February 17, 2015. For the last two sols, Opportunity has been investigating rocks exposed at the head of Marathon Valley (see red-filtered Pancam image below). These rocks have a shiny surface unlike others seen here.  Above, a three-frame Navcam composite looks toward the southwest, with the head of the valley at left (click the image to load a larger version in a new tab).
