MARCI weather report, May 4-10, 2015

releaseimg_150504_150510Continued calming was the main story for the weather on Mars for the past week. A diffuse dust cloud over Noachis continued to wane for the first few sols, ultimately fading away by mid-week. A couple small pulses of dust were observed in the Acidalia-storm track but were unable to kick up any significant storms. Local dust storms transpired in Utopia, southern Sirenum, and along the northern seasonal polar ice cap edge. [More at link, including video]
