Dust storm activity picked up this last week on Mars. At the beginning of the week, a couple local-scale dust storms were spotted near the edge of the north polar ice cap, over Acidalia and Olympia. By mid-week, a more wide-ranging, arcuate-shaped polar storm developed, propagating southward over Acidalia and eastward along the polar ice cap edge in the following sols.
