The regional-scale dust storm which lingered above Xanthe Terra, finally began to dissipate during the last three sols of this past week. The visible dust cloud lofted by the storm was observed over Noachis reaching as far as northwest Hellas basin by week’s end. Scanning further north, local-scale dust storms and water-ice clouds propagated eastward along the north polar ice cap edge.
