THEMIS Image of the Day, June 21, 2018. The hills in this VIS image are part of mound located in Arcadia Plantia. Just west of these hills is a long region of grouped hills called Phlegra Montes.
The soft contours, rounded hills, and possible flow lines on the ground all suggest that a large amount of ice is buried beneath mantling material.
