Sols 4808-09, August 3-4, 2017. Opportunity swung back into action on Sol 4808, sending a Navcam series looking downslope to the east (above). The next day, the Microscopic Imager took a shot of a wind-etched target called Parral (right). And the Pancam shot a multi-filtered view of a round feature called Mariner 6 (below), named for one of a pair of 1969 Mars probes (colorized by Holger Isenberg). All images enlarge when clicked.
