THEMIS Image of the Day, March 29, 2016. This VIS image of Olympica Fossae shows both linear and sinuous channel forms. The linear depressions are most likely of tectonic origin (faulting); and the sinuous channels were probably formed by liquid flow. The liquid may have been lava, rather than water.
