MARCI weather report, March 31-April 3, 2016

releaseimg_160328_160403A slight uptick of dust lifting activity occurred on Mars this past week. At the beginning of the week, local-scale transient dust storms were spotted along the polar cap, north of Tempe. This activity appeared to propagate eastward over the following few sols and dipped southward over Utopia by the end of the week. Meanwhile, on the other side of the red planet, dust lifting over the southern highlands was more sparse with small events over Solis Planum and Noachis Terra.
